The sfc /scannow command scans all protected body files and replaces corrupted files with a cached copy in compressed folder areas in %WinDir%\System32\dllcache.
The %WinDir% placeholder represents the Windows Management System folder. Example: C:\Windows.Do
Please note that you do not close this command line window until the verification is 100% complete. The scan results will be displayed after this process is completed.
Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, then go to search. Or, if you’re using a mouse, move your mouse to the bottom right corner of the screen and click Search. Enter this command line in the search box, right-click “Command Prompt” and select “Run as manager”. If prompted for a strong administrator password or confirmation, enter the password or click Allow.Â

Once you have determined which system file seems corrupted and unusable, use the detailed information in the Sfcdetails.txt file to locate the corrupted file, and then manually delete the corrupted file along with the identified healthy copy of the file. To do this, follow these steps:
Note. You might be able to get all known good programs by copying a network file from another computer that is undoubtedly running the same version of Windows that is connected to your computer. You can always run a file system check on this computer to make sure the system file you are trying to copy is a valid copy.
