7. Disable Windows Aero

Another possible solution for this corrupted cursor is to enable a few Aero effects in Windows. You can transparently disable some Aero in Windows 7 by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting “Personalize”.

Next, click Window Color and uncheck Enable Transparency. While counting, select the new Windows 7 theme from the Basic & High Contrast Themes category.
